YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

OCAPICA has a long-standing partnership with Anaheim Unified High School District. Because of that, many of our Youth programs serve AUHSD junior high and high school students through programming efforts where they become active leaders in their communities, improve their wellness, and mentor them on the journey towards higher education and their future careers. If you are interested in OCAPICA youth programming for your school and/or district, please reach out to [email protected]

  • Developing peer-to-peer connections
  • Spreading mental health awareness
  • Building culturally inclusive spaces
  • Promoting student wellness
  • Training students to become peer mentors
Funding is provided from the California Department of Public Health (AB 178), partnering with Sierra Health Foundation as part of a statewide implementation of a Youth Suicide Prevention and Media Outreach Campaign.
