special two day conference for Asian and Pacific
Islanders with Disabilites, Friday and Saturday,
November 18-19 at the Embassy Suites Hotel Anaheim
South, 11767 Harbor Blvd. in Garden Grove, California.
The conference is aimed at individuals with
disabilities and their families. We've invited
panelists from numerous agencies and community
organizations to share information on how to
best access employment, benefits, education,
regional centers, and other services. Conference
highlights will include welcome remarks by EEOC
Commissioner Stuart Ishimaru from Washington,
D.C., and a great entourage of speakers from
our API communities, as well as live entertainment
by Bayadera at our networking reception. Conference
attendees will also be eligible for free raffle
prizes, and receive commemorative bookbags and
complimentary gifts. Financial assistance is
available for transportation, lodging and registration
